SICO adopts CFA institute global asset management standards

Manama, Kingdom of Bahrain – 23 August  2016: Securities & Investment Company (SICO), licensed by the Central Bank of Bahrain as a conventional wholesale bank, announced today that it has joined a select group of asset managers in the MENA region that have claimed compliance with the Global Investment Performance Standards (GIPS) issued by the CFA Institute.

 

GIPS constitute a single global standard and ethical framework for the calculation and presentation of the investment performance history of asset management firms. These standards, which are based on the fundamental principles of full disclosure and fair representation of performance results, enable investors to make meaningful comparisons between investment managers across the world.
